SRS Legal has advised ECS on the acquisition of B&B Montijo, a 112-room hotel unit leased to B&B Hotels and previously owned by a partnership between Sunny BB and Casais. The purchase was made through the Portuguese Strategic Growth Fund, managed by ECS.
The building has around 4,200 square meters of constructed area, distributed over four floors above ground, with a basement with 15 parking spaces. It is leased to the B&B Hotels group, a leading hotel sector player based in France, and Europe’s fastest growing hotel chain in the economy segment, operating more than 720 hotels in 15 countries, including 12 properties in Portugal.
